NC K9 Maverick The Dog Tracks Down Missing Child

The Union County Sheriff’s Office says their K9 officer Maverick was instrumental in finding a child who had been reported missing by his family. After presenting Maverick with a blanket that belonged to the child, he led deputies onto a busy highway and down a road where the child was found unharmed. The sheriff’s department says they received Maverick, a white English Labrador, as a donation from a local family and he’s become an invaluable addition to their team.
