League of Women Voters Uses Different Format for "Meet the Candidates"

The League of Women Voters tried a different format for their annual Candidates Night Thursday, and Kevin Coleman was there.

Instead of asking each candidate questions in front of a large group, the audience was divided into five sections of less than ten, which each candidate rotated to, in the "Meet the Candidates."

League member Dawn Zar said the league visited a event of this style a few years ago near Cincinnati, but then COVID happened. She quoted League chair Bart Henshaw that the event was like speed dating.

But that does mean that there was no main event to videorecord...so, you had the be there.

Six candidates for Ross County and state offices participated. Representative for the Childen's Services Levy Renewal were also present.
