Georgetown Woman Killed in Brown County Motorcycle Crash

One person is dead as the result of a motorcycle involved crash in Brown County.

The Georgetown Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that David G. Crum, 65, and Mary F. Crum, 62, both of Georgetown, were riding a Harley Davidson southbound on Oak Grove Road near Gardener Road in Brown County’s Lewis Township around 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27th when the bike traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned while negotiating a curve.

Mary F. Crum was riding as a passenger on the Harley when the crash occurred. She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

David G. Crum suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash and was flown to UC Medical Center.

Neither occupant of the motorcycle was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
