"Rocky Fork Lake Fourth of July Parade" Back for a Fourth Year

A fairly new parade returns to Highland County. The "Rocky Fork Lake Fourth of July Parade" is back for a fourth year and will take place on Independence Day.

The parade will begin at 10am that Monday. Headed up by Highland County Sheriff Donnie Barrera, the procession begins at Beechwood Pizza, and ends at the North Beach parking lot.

The Parade Grand Marshal is Joey McGuire of Joey’s Pizza. Put on by the Rocky Fork Lake Business Advisory Committee, the parade was first held in 2019 in an effort to promote the business community in the Rocky Fork area.
