Ross County Grand Jury Indicts Peebles Man for Drug Dealing

The Ross County Grand Jury returned indictments on all eleven cases presented Friday. Four of those were open.

26 year old Frankie Blevins of Peebles is facing seven felony charges after the Ohio State Highway Patrol says he was pulled over on US Rt 50 in Ross County October 21st with tags on his Mustang that were registered to another vehicle.

When asked to exit the vehicle, Blevins attempted to hide what authorities say was a bag of suspected drugs. A loaded semi automatic hand gun and a large amount of cash was also discovered. Blevins admitted to authorities that he was selling meth, fentanyl, and heroin.

He was also wanted on a felony warrant from Adams county on drug charges. If convicted, Blevins could face up to 24 years in prison on the new charges.

Also indicted Friday were 25 year old Duke Bowling and 21 year old Shawn Jones of Chillicothe on second degree felony robbery charges.
