Governor Wants Ohio Schools to Resume in Fall

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine says the state "fully intends to have school in the fall...to have kids back in the classroom".

Dewine says the date of return to school is within the power of the local school board.

Later responding to reporters questions at his daily press conference, the governor stated each school will have the option of mingling in-person classes with online classes, depending on whether that community is experiencing a spike in COVID-19 cases.
