ADAMH Board Announces 2019 Red Ribbon Week Scholarship Contest Winners

Paint Valley ADAMH has announced the winners of this year's "Write in Red" Red Ribbon Week Essay Contest. The annual competition takes place during Red Ribbon Week in late October and encourages students to live a drug-free lifestyle. It’s open to all middle and high school aged students.

One student from each of the five counties within Paint Valley ADAMH’s service district were selected to receive a $500 college scholarship. The five winners this year are:

  • Washington CH High School’s Joycelyn Trimmer
  • Fairfield Middle School’s Neveah Durham-Tate
  • Eastern Pike High School’s Booklyn Exline
  • Chillicothe High School’s Avery Brown.
  • Anonymous Westfall student.

Twenty other students from Ross, Pike, Pickaway, Highland and Fayette counties were selected to receive a prize of $100 for their Red Ribbon Essays.
