Ohio House Hopes to Move On Sports Betting Bill

Sports betting is slowly but surely taking center stage in the Ohio Statehouse as legislators continue to push for it to be legalized. State Rep Dave Greenspan details when he thinks the wait will be over.

The hope now is to get House Bill 194 voted on and signed by the governor by January, with hopes to get things rolling six months later at Ohio casinos, racinos, veteran and fraternal halls and mobile apps and would use bigger out-of-state scorebooks to run the business on a 10% tax.

That money would be funneled back into the state for schools.
