Coroner Says Dayton Mass Shooter Was On Drugs

(24/7 News) -- A county coroner says the shooter who killed nine people in Dayton, Ohio was on cocaine.

The Montgomery County coroner said Thursday that Connor Betts was found to have cocaine, alcohol and anti-anxiety drugs in his system, and that a pipe containing cocaine was found in his pocket. He also said Betts' weapon was connected with the killing of all nine victims.

Betts was fatally shot by police about 30 seconds after he started his rampage near downtown Dayton earlier this month.

Police are still not certain of the gunman's motive.
