Work is now underway on for the Washington Avenue Project in Washington. City Manager Joe Denen says work is similar to what was seen with the rehab of Leesburg Avenue a couple of years ago.
Washington CH City Council started reading the resolution Wednesday night that would enable the city to get going on the project this spring, with cooperation from ODOT.
The plan is to reconstruct the street for the museum to the intersection with Elm Street with completion around October.
