LSD, Mushrooms, Cocaine, Nitrous Oxide and Marijuana Seized in Madison Co.

A New Mexico man is facing felony drug charges following a traffic stop in Madison County.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers seized 3 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, 144 LSD tabs, 1 ounce of cocaine, 70 grams of marijuana, and 450 doses of nitrous oxide.

The Patrol says the stop took place at 10:45 a.m. Monday, July 16th along I-70 in Madison County. The driver, Patrick Miller, 30, of Albuquerque, was stopped for a speed violation near mile-marker 73. It was an odor of marijuana coming from Miller's 2001 Toyota Highlander that prompted a probable cause search.

Miller is charged with first-degree felony possession of drugs. He faces a penalty of up to 10 years in prison and fine of up to $20,000 if convicted.
